Light, airy solution for wrist immobilizationThis light, airy splint can be used, for example, while waiting for a real splint to immobilize the wrist.
It is printed flat, then thermoformed: using a hairdryer or soaking it in hot water (printed in PLA), it becomes flexible and adapts to the wrist, taking care not to burn yourself.
Repeat several times to obtain the best-fitting shape.For those with a slicer capable of generating a hexagonal infill, a "full" STL is also available (filledBrace.stl), for much faster printing:
- set top and bottom horizontal layers to 0
- 20% hexagonal infill
