Braille writing template, single line.

Braille template, one line. This new template prints fairly easily on an FDM printer. (The other one is better suited for SLA printing.) Print it with a fine nozzle, or set your 0.4 mm nozzle to print at 0.3 mm in your slicing software. Use a single shell and 100% infill. You may also need to print slower than usual. You cannot scale up the model, as the spacing between Braille dots is fixed. For the stylus, I use a rounded-tip dental tool (not the very sharp one). You can also use toothpicks, but their tips get dull after several punctures; so you might need several of them. :-) Yes, the stylus goes through the paper, but if you smooth it out slightly on the other side once printing is finished, it remains perfectly legible for a blind person.Don’t forget that you’re writing backwards so that a blind person can read it right-side up :-) So start punching on the right and work your way to the left. Use our guide to make sure you’re punching the letters backwards as well. Here is a demonstration video: sorry for the slow speed! The video speeds up after the first line: https://youtu.be/MFoCGYG1zso
